Liz Booker is now a full-time writer working on her first novel and living in Florida with her dogs, husband and boys. She spent 28-years as a US Coast Guard helicopter pilot and cycled up to various positions such as national security expert, human resources manager, counter-narcotics and trafficking mission operator and foreign diplomat. She is experienced in networking and mentoring women and underrepresented professionals to help them achieve their goals. She holds a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government and a Masters of Fine Arts in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts.
